“First, it was just a tray of quail eggs. Then, the markings began to feel like small worlds, each shell carrying its own surface.”
What stayed with the studio was the mould itself. The ridged body, the stem at the centre, the way it sat in the hand and held its shape. It belonged to a snack many of us grew up with, but it also carried a form that felt familiar, precise, and lasting.

That became the starting point for Ab Ovo. A familiar egg shape, marked differently each time. Made in ceramic, it takes in fragrance oil, holds its trace, and lets scent return slowly into the room.
